Sen. Jordan talks transit at Vinings forum
Sen. Jen Jordan, an attorney, said she’s proud of what she’s done during her first year in office, including getting an A+ rating on her 2018 General Assembly scorecard from the Georgia Chamber of Commerce.
“First, we passed the largest tax cut in the history of our state,” she said. “We passed a transit bill that is actually going to grapple with the issues we have. I’ve continued to work on those issues because the transit bill requires all the legislators and the county commissioners to work together. … It’s important we’re all at the table. It’s not just some bureaucrat making decisions about Cobb County, but an actual elected official representing that county.” — Marietta Daily Journal
