But when you begin the legislative session trying to silence victims of sexual harassment (with no ability to file a complaint during an election year) and disenfranchise the women of the senate by warehousing them on committees with zero influence, it doesn't seem like there have been any lessons learned.

I was honored to be the sponsor for Dyslexia Day at the Capitol this year. Thanks to my 13-year-old son, I am well-versed in the challenges faced by those with dyslexia, and am equally well-versed in the unique skills and perspectives they possess. I firmly believe that we should push for early screening, early diagnosis, and early remediation for all Georgia students with dyslexia.
